Mile post 90
This peak is one of the park’s most beautiful rock structures. The 3.4 mile round-trip hike to the top will take you through some of the park’s designated wilderness. In addition to the plant life, you’ll enjoy the stunningly unique pinkish-white rocks and cliffs. You’ll pass Calvary Rocks—beautiful white cliffs—before reaching Chimney Rock. Once you reach your destination, you can gaze west across the Paine Run watershed and marvel at the surrounding peaks. You’ll notice steel spikes in the rock, where a footbridge spanned the chasm before this became a wilderness area. Enjoy the view and solitude.
