Progress report

Thanks to the support of our generous donors, the Shenandoah National Park Trust funded your park’s first climate change education program this year. The park developed great materials, including a new ranger talk, a visual presentation shown at park amphitheaters, podcasts and a special art project celebrating the endangered Shenandoah Salamander, the subject of Shenandoah’s climate change research. The park will develop a classroom component in 2013.

So when you’re in Shenandoah next spring learning about “Sal” the salamander, you can feel proud knowing that your support of the Shenandoah National Park Trust made it happen.
