NEW Shenandoah License Plates Available Now
These beautiful, unique Shenandoah National Park license plates are now available to all Virginians through the Department of Motor Vehicles. Once 1,000 sets are purchased, $15 from every sale and renewal returns to Shenandoah National Park Trust to support our park.
Three things to do now:
- Buy Shenandoah National Park license plates for all your cars. Order them online from the Virginia DMV or at your local DMV office. Personalized plates cost $35/year in addition to your regular registration fee. Non-personalized plates are $25/year plus registration fees.
- Email us a photo of your car with its Shenandoah plates and we'll post it on our website and our Facebook page! Email photos to info@SNPTrust.org.
- Be an ambassador! If you don't see the Shenandoah plate on the wall of your local DMV, ask the staff to display it. Plates are rotated and we want ours to be visible as often as possible.
The Trust launched the license plate campaign in June 2009 to generate an ongoing funding stream for Shenandoah National Park. Numerous national parks are receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars annually from their partner groups’ license plate programs. We look forward to building our program to reap similar results for Shenandoah. Thanks for your support!
