At the Shenandoah National Park Trust, the safety of our community is our top priority.

Due to the emergence of the Delta variant and the recent increase in COVID-19 transmission across the area, beginning on Sunday, August 29th entry to all ticketed events at The Paramount Theater requires proof of vaccination or proof of a negative PCR test within 48 hours prior to the performance date and time, along with valid photo ID. Additionally, masks will be required for all individuals inside the Theater, regardless of vaccination status, except while actively eating or drinking in their seats. The Shenandoah National Park Trust will gladly issue a refund to any ticketholders who request one. Refunds will be issued up to 48 hours before the date and time of the event and can be obtained by calling the Paramount Box Office at (434) 979-1333, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm, or by emailing: boxoffice@theparamount.net.

If you will not be attending the Banff Film Festival, we ask you to consider donating the cost of your ticket to the Shenandoah National Park Trust, the official philanthropic partner of Shenandoah National Park. If you would like to donate the cost of your ticket, please contact the Paramount Theater Box Office at the above phone number or email address.

For the last 5 years, Shenandoah National Park Trust has had the honor of bringing the Banff Mountain Film Festival to the Paramount Theater in downtown Charlottesville. After a virtual Banff this winter, we are excited to announce a live Banff event in August for one night only!

In accordance with current CDC recommendations, the Paramount Theater requires masks for all patrons who are not yet fully vaccinated and is strongly urging fully vaccinated guests to wear a mask. The Paramount is happy to provide masks up0n request. For ticketholders with safety concerns, we will gladly issue a refund for the August 29th Banff Mountain Film Festival.
