Shenandoah National Park Trust is proud to host the 2027 Banff Mountain Film Festival, live with never-before-seen films on all three nights, March 5 – 7, at The Paramount Theater in Charlottesville.
General Admission
General Admission tickets will be available through the Paramount Theater in mid-January.
Tickets: $27/person
Doors open at 6pm on Friday and Saturday; doors open at 2pm on Sunday.
Banff Adventurers
Banff Adventurers get early access to the theater, an invitation to the kickoff party, and a chance to hike and/or attend events with us throughout the year! Adventurer tickets include a donation to support conservation, education, and more in Shenandoah National Park. Adventurer tickets will go on sale October 2026.

With over 3,000 attendees from 90+ zip codes, Banff is one of the best opportunities to link your brand with adventure in Virginia and support Shenandoah National Park. The Banff Film Festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we’re hoping to raise over $150,000 at the event this year. Banff Sponsorships are now closed. The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour highlights the best short films that capture inspiring moments and thought-provoking action in mountain sports and culture from around the world.
For the last 10 years, Shenandoah National Park Trust has had the honor of bringing the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival to the Paramount Theater in downtown Charlottesville. We are excited to announce that the three-night festival complete with raffles and giveaway prizes will be back at the Paramount in March 2026!
