There are many ways to support Shenandoah National Park. You can make a one-time or monthly donation, donate stock, buy a license plate, or even volunteer. And it doesn’t stop there. Below are some other ways you can support your park.
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you are 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution allows you to transfer funds directly from your traditional IRA to Shenandoah National Park Trust — a tax-smart way to support the Park. A QCD may also satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). The transfer must go directly from your IRA to SNPT to qualify.
