Celebrating our Neighborhood National Park
The Shenandoah National Park Trust invites you to join us for the 5th annual Shenandoah Soirée on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 4pm-6pm at the beautiful home of Greg & Liz Yates in Culpeper. The Shenandoah Soirée celebrates the scenic beauty of the Virginia Piedmont and its special relationship with Shenandoah National Park. Join us for libations, conversations, and culinary adventure prepared by the nationally renowned Sumac catering team. Tickets and sponsorships are available now.
Previous Soirées have been hosted at unique, nature-oriented locations throughout Rappahannock County, including:
- Chancellors Rock Farm, hosted by Kathryn & Tony Everett
- Mount Prospect, hosted by Chuck & Dee Akre
- Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge, hosted by Doug Ward & Earl Johnson (read their host story here, or check out the event recap here!)
- Old Rag Basecamp, hosted by Chuck MacDonald
This year, we’re looking forward to celebrating our park at the residence of Greg & Liz Yates in Culpeper.
