Join us for a hike lead by Rolf Gubler, retired SNP Biologist. The hike will start at the Story of the Forest nature trail and wind it’s way to the Big Meadows campground and back to Byrd Visitor Center.
This is an easy 2 mile hike.
Rolf will talk about spongy moth impacts and latest treatment protocol, hemlock preservation and human/bear interactions and management practices.
We’ll meet at Byrd Visitor Center, mile 51, at 10:00 a.m.
