Park partners are joining forces for the third annual Show Your Love for Shenandoah Day, a park-wide volunteer event on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The committee is excited to announce their goal to bring together 125 volunteers to complete projects in Shenandoah National Park to prepare for the spring and summer visitation season.

Projects include trail maintenance; constructing picnic tables; picnic area, campground, and overlook clean-up; and pulling invasives. Teams of volunteers will complete these projects with the guidance of project leads from Shenandoah National Park, the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, and the Appalachian Conservation Corps. Project volunteers will meet their Project Leader at Pinnacles Picnic Grounds for a briefing and then depart to their project location. Some projects may require participants to drive personal vehicles to location sites.

Boxed lunches will be provided, including whole fruit, a Nature Valley granola bar, Route 11 chips, and freshly baked cookie. A vegetarian option will be available.

Registration is required. If you are interested in participating in Show Your Love for Shenandoah, please register for each individual attending. Registration is capped to 125 participants. Registrants will receive an entrance fee waiver.
